Appel à candidature : « Rijksmuseum Fellowship Programme »

Capture d’écran 2013-12-28 à 12.01.12The Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam announces a pre-doctoral fellowship programme for outstanding doctoral candidates working on theart and the history of the Low Countries with a focus on object-based research. The programmeaims to train a new generation of inquisitive object-based specialists, furthering understanding of Netherlandish art and history for the future.

The focus of research should be related to the Rijksmuseum’s collection, which encompasspaintings, sculpture, decorative arts, prints, drawings, photography and historical artefacts.Students and scholars will have access to the Rijksmuseum’s collections, library, conservation laboratories and curatorial expertise.

Applications will be accepted form those pursuing careers as art historians, curators, conservators, historians and scientists. Funding is available for one- or two-year fellowships, starting in the academic year 2014-2015. The closure date of applications is 15March 2014.
