Appel à communication : « Team 10 East » (8 juin 2013, Varsovie)

Museum of Modern Art in Warsaw invites proposals for papers to be discussed during the Team 10 East workshop in Warsaw (June 8, 2013) and, potentially, to contribute to the book Team 10 East. Possible topics include the work of architects from socialist countries who were part of the Team 10 networks; exchanges between Team 10 and architects and planners from socialist countries; and the reception of Team 10 discussions in architectural culture in Central and Eastern Europe. Papers dealing with questions of modernization, consumption, welfare state, community, and everyday life are particularly encouraged.

Please send an abstract of up to 300 words and a resume of up to 150 words to info@team10east.net. Abstracts can be submitted until April 15, 2013. The selected participants will be informed by April 30.

Limited funding is available to support two participants of the workshop with partial reimbursement of the travel costs to Warsaw. Detailed information on the project can be found on www.team10east.net.
