Base de données : La Kunsthalle de Brême met ses collections en ligne

The collection of the Kunsthalle is now accessible online for the first time. The catalogue presents the entire holdings of painting and sculpture, to be followed by the drawings and later by the museum’s prints, coins and medals.

All entries include basic information on the work and a reproduction – if available. More detailed information, such as bibliography, exhibition history and provenance will follow in time. This information is, however, already available for our holdings of French painting of the 19th and early 20th centuries and for the paintings by Bremen artists from 1800 to 1950, both of which have recently been subject of special research projects. With certain groups of works, as for example by Bremen artists, a detailed analysis of the work and a biography of the artist are also offered. You can also reach these works directly via the menu ‘Research Projects’.

The Online Catalogue and the information it contains is continually growing and you will discover new works, reproductions and detailed information with each visit.
