Un poste de professeur assistant invité en histoire de l’art contemporain (XIXe et XXe siècles) est ouvert pour un an non renouvelable au Kalamazoo College (Michigan). L’enseignant, muni d’une thèse et d’une solide expérience dans l’enseignement supérieur, dispensera des cours à plein temps entre le 1er septembre 2011 et le 30 juin 2012. Il devra, entre autres, assurer un séminaire de méthodologie, et un cours sur l’art aux XIXe et XXe siècles.

« Kalamazoo College is a highly selective small liberal arts college in southwest Michigan with a student body of 1,370 and a faculty just over 100. Established in 1833, Kalamazoo College is the oldest college in Michigan. 80-85% of graduates have studied abroad for three to nine months (most typically six) for the past 50 years. This strong emphasis on study abroad is buttressed by a curriculum rich in international offerings. All students must fulfill a foreign language requirement and take a sophomore seminar focused on cross-cultural understanding. All students must also complete a senior independent research project.
