Curator of Italian Paintings 1500 – 1600
You will be responsible for the care and display of the Gallery’s Italian paintings 1500 – 1600, and for scholarly research, interpretation, exhibitions and acquisitions in this area.
You will have a postgraduate degree in art history, with a strong interest and knowledge of Italian Renaissance art 1500 – 1600, as well as relevant experience in a comparable institution. In addition, you will have a record of publications and a very good knowledge of Italian. The ability to balance priorities and communicate knowledge of your specialist field to a wide audience is essential.
