Monash University is seeking to appoint an outstanding candidate as Professor/Associate Professor of French Studies within the School of Languages, Literatures, Cultures and Linguistics in the Faculty of Arts.
You will have a dynamic research and teaching profile, with outstanding expertise in one or more areas of French studies; interdisciplinary approaches and new theoretical engagements are particularly welcome.
In addition to a track record of academic leadership and an outstanding research record in both publications and external competitive grants, you should have a demonstrably strong teaching history, including curriculum design and innovation, and a record of successful postgraduate supervision.
We are looking for a candidate with the vision and capacity to steer the future direction of the cross-disciplinary French Studies Major.
Duration
The appointment will be made at a level appropriate to the successful candidate’s qualifications and experience and will be on a continuing basis.
