I Tatti, The Harvard University Center for Italian Renaissance Studies in Florence, Italy, warmly invites applications for the 2024–2025 academic year. We offer the following ten fellowships (n.b. deadlines vary):

I Tatti Fellowship (twelve months; deadline: October 16) for post-doctoral research in any aspect of the Italian Renaissance, broadly understood historically to include the period from the 14th to the 17th century and geographically to include transnational dialogues between Italy and other cultures (e.g. Latin American, Mediterranean, African, Asian etc.). http://itatti.harvard.edu/i-tatti-fellowship

Wallace Fellowship (four or six months; deadline November 15) for scholars who explore the historiography and impact of the Italian Renaissance in the Modern Era (19th-21st centuries). http://itatti.harvard.edu/wallace-fellowship

Berenson Fellowship (four or six months; deadline November 15) for scholars who explore « Italy in the World. » Projects should address the transnational dialogues between Italy and other cultures. http://itatti.harvard.edu/berenson-fellowship

I Tatti / Getty Black Mediterranean Fellowship (four or six months; deadline November 15) for scholars from African nations whose work examines exchanges within and between the African continent and the wider Mediterranean world during the early modern period (14th – 17th centuries). https://itatti.harvard.edu/black-mediterranean-fellowship

I Tatti / Dumbarton Oaks Joint Fellowship (twelve months; deadline November 1) for early and mid-career scholars who explore cross-cultural contacts in and beyond the late medieval and early modern Mediterranean. I Tatti / Museo Nacional del Prado Joint Fellowship (nine months; deadline November 30) for art historians working on projects that address the relationship between Spain and Italy.
