L’Institut royal du Patrimoine artistique (IRPA) organise un symposium international en l’honneur de son fondateur et premier directeur, Paul Coremans (1908-1965). Le cinquantième anniversaire de son décès est l’occasion unique de jeter un regard rétrospectif sur son étonnante carrière. L’impact de sa vision novatrice et de ses idées en matière de conservation et de restauration des œuvres d’art a eu une importance fondamentale, tant en Belgique qu’à l’étranger. Ses prises de position, sa pensée et son action sur le terrain seront au cœur de cette rencontre internationale
