Appel à candidature : bourses post-doctorales au Kunsthistorisches Institut de Florence (Arts de la Renaissance)

The Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florenz – Max-Planck-Institut invites qualified candidates to apply for a one-year postdoctoral grant starting at the earliest possible date. The monthly stipend will be at least 1.468,00 Euro.

Applicants should hold a PhD in Art History or in a related discipline. The research project – either a continuation of the doctoral thesis or a new study – should concentrate on the phenomenon of light in artworks of the 15th and 16th century – a focus on theory of light and optics would be desirable. Knowledge of the English, Italian and German language is required.
