An architect without a building, active across architectural projects, Anne Van Loo (born 1951) has been a teacher, researcher, curator (Archives of Modern Architecture in Brussels), and permanent secretary of the Royal Commission of Monuments and Sites in the Brussels-Capital Region. In this interview, she retraces her singular path within a particular world—a city of architects at a time of crisis—but expanding to the European scale, evoking a shared defense of cultural heritage and urban architecture.
