Jefferson Pinder (b. 1970, Washington, D.C.) has produced highly praised performance-based and multidisciplinary work for over a decade. La Fondation pour l’Art et la Recherche, fondation abritée au sein de la Fondation pour la Sauvegarde de l’Art français, vient de créer, à l’initiative de Monsieur Philippe Clerc, le Prix Charles Percier. Ce Prix est placé sous l’égide du Comité français d’histoire de l’art (CFHA).
Le Prix Charles Percier récompensera une publication (livre, catalogue raisonné, article,…), une recherche non encore éditée (mémoire de maîtrise, thèse de doctorat) ou un travail de recherche en cours dans tous les domaines artistiques du Néo-Classicisme (peinture, dessin, sculpture, architecture, arts décoratifs,…) ou de sa période (1750-1840 ca) ou de sa fortune critique ou visuelle.
