AHAI L’Association des historiens de l’art italien (A.H.A.I.) souhaite organiser une journée d’études consacrée à la présentation de travaux universitaires liés à l’art italien, du Moyen-Âge à nos jours. Cette initiative doit permettre à de jeunes chercheurs de faire connaître leurs travaux, qu’il s’agisse de thèses récemment soutenues ou en voie d’achèvement.

Les communications présentées pourront faire l’objet d’une publication dans le Bulletin de l’A.H.A.I.

L’Académie-de-Platon-Mosaïque-romaine-retrouvée-à-PompéiCette journée d’étude a pour objectif de faire se rencontrer des jeunes chercheurs (doctorants et jeunes docteurs) afin de réfléchir aux méthodes d’analyse iconographique en histoire ancienne et aux problèmes qu’elles suscitent, quelle que soit la nature du document (fresque, céramique peinte, sculpture, orfèvrerie, mosaïque…). On accordera une attention toute particulière aux contextes spatial et chronologique, ainsi qu’aux apports de l’interdisciplinarité (archéologie, histoire de l’art, anthropologie, sémiologie, numismatique…). Des temps importants seront consacrés aux discussions après chaque communication pour que cet atelier puisse être surtout un lieu d’échange et de formation collective.
