 The Princeton Society of Fellows, an interdisciplinary group of scholars in the humanities, social sciences, and selected natural sciences, invites applications for the 2017-2020 Fellowship competition.
Four three-year Postdoctoral Fellowships will be awarded this year. The stipend for each of the three years of the fellowship will be approximately $84,500. In addition, fellows are provided with a shared office, a personal computer, a research account of $5,000 a year, access to university grants, benefits and other resources.

 Discourses of fear dominate our contemporary moment. In this so-called “Age of Terrorism,” fear knows no borders, spreads quickly, and provokes the fearful to react in unpredictable ways. Politicians lash out and make shows of strength; citizens march en masse while immigrant families take flight; journalists proclaim “même pas peur!” while young people turn to newer forms of media to express their disillusionment and reshape pervasive stereotypes. At the same time, the causes—or perceived causes—of fear can be as varied as these reactions. Le Laboratoire d’excellence « Création, Arts, Patrimoines » (Labex CAP), annonce le recrutement par voie de concours de six à huit chercheuses / chercheurs de niveau post-doctoral pour une période d’un an, éventuellement renouvelable une fois.

Le programme « Immersion » est un dispositif nouveau et original à double visée.  The Fundación Gondra Barandiarán and the Museo Nacional del Prado have signed an agreement allowing the two institutions to jointly sponsor a program consisting of two remunerated scholarships for researchers involved with any aspect of art history related to the Museo del Prado’s collections.
This agreement stipulates the awarding of two scholarships: a senior scholarship for researchers over the age of 40, and a junior scholarship for those beneath that age.
