 The Fundación Gondra Barandiarán and the Museo Nacional del Prado have signed an agreement allowing the two institutions to jointly sponsor a program consisting of two remunerated scholarships for researchers involved with any aspect of art history related to the Museo del Prado’s collections.
This agreement stipulates the awarding of two scholarships: a senior scholarship for researchers over the age of 40, and a junior scholarship for those beneath that age. Colloque organisé en partenariat entre l’Université Paris I, le laboratoire InVisu, l’Institut national du patrimoine et l’Université de Bologne, avec le soutien du programme Confluence d’Hesam.
Après une longue éclipse due au triomphe incontesté du modèle du White cube dans les dispositifs d’exposition, comme à l’invention de nouveaux types de musées de société, les salles historiques font retour aujourd’hui dans les musées, ainsi qu’en témoignent réouvertures ou réinstallations de period rooms un peu partout dans le monde.
Simultanément, de nombreux artistes contemporains font usage de ces dispositifs au sein d’installations diverses.  Cycle « Visibilité et présence de l’image dans l’espace ecclésial »
Dans le cadre du programme de recherche IMAGO-EIKΩN Regards croisés sur l’image chrétienne médiévale entre Orient et Occident (Labex RESMED, HiCSA)
Ce programme s’inscrit dans une action collaborative montée avec le domaine médiéval de l’INHA, porté par Isabelle Marchesin.
L’analyse des images dans l’espace ecclésial au Moyen Âge implique une large prise en compte du contexte monumental et rituel. Depuis les années 1980, la recherche a bénéficié de l’apport des études sur la liturgie pour en faire un aspect prééminent dans l’analyse et l’interprétation du décor. Les recherches se tournent aujourd’hui davantage vers la réception du figuré, suscitant des interrogations sur la visibilité des images et leur degré de lecture.
